The construction of the Huahuasei Lodge started in 2005 and was finished in 2012. Many hands have helped us to accomplish this titans work. Please check out this slideshow to follow the construction process.
Rooms
The Huahuasei Lodge offers eight sober decorated rooms, all equipped with private bathroom, high quality beds and handmade wooden furniture. Deluxe rooms have full view on the Yangtze River. Every room has access to a balcony. The total capacity of the lodge is 20 guests.The lodge has single and double rooms and one triple room. In the deluxe rooms it is possible to add one or two extra childbeds. We warmly welcome single travellers as well as families with or without children.
Restaurant
In our restaurant homemade western or local style breakfast is served which you can also enjoy on the terrace or on the balcony. Lunch and dinner are prepared with local ingredients and can also be organised in a nearby farm or as a picnic. Specialities from the village are farmer’s chicken, ham from mountain-raised pigs, wild mushrooms, walnuts, baba bread and locally grown vegetables and fruits. On request we can even serve Belgian dishes and deserts.
